Microsoft will give details on Windows 7

Microsoft stated that it will reveal several details and “in-depth technical information” regarding Windows 7 to the participants of its Professional Developers Conference (PDC), scheduled for October 26-29, and at the Windows Hardware Engineering Conference (WinHEC), scheduled for November 5-7.

[UPDATED] Windows XP SP3 and Windows Vista SP1 delayed

Microsoft announced Wednesday that it delayed the rollout of the third Service Pack for Windows XP and the first service pack for Windows Vista because some of the changes that the Service Packs included can corrupt Microsoft Dynamics’ data.

Windows XP SP3 will probably release on April 29

According to tech site Neowin, but yet to be officialy confirmed by Microsoft, the third Service Pack of Windows XP will show up around April, 29th, 2008 on the major consumer download areas of Microsoft (Microsoft Update, Windows Update, and Download Center).
