Little vacation

It should not be necessary to tell this since lately my posting is so seldom that probably no one would have noticed, but in the next few days there will be absolutely no post since I’m out of town.

After 9 days from the milestone release of Wine 1.0, today Wine 1.1.0 has been released.

World of Warcraft PTR Patch 2.4.3

The new small patch for World of Warcraft is available to test through the “Public Test Realms”. Since it is a small patch, it could be released next week or the week after at maximum.

OpenSUSE 11.0 Released

It seems a fertile period for Open Source software. After the release of Mozilla Firefox 3 and Wine 1.0, yesterday Novell released OpenSUSE 11.0.

Wine 1.0 finally released

While today all the eyes are pointed to the release of Firefox 3, there is another important software that has reached an important milestone in its evolution: I am speaking of Wine, the “Open Source implementation of the Windows API on top of X, OpenGL, and Unix” that reached the 1.0 version.
